Everyone knows abt solar heaters, how they operate and all.. But there are few problems concerning the proper utlization of the energy produced.. A few of them are listed below :
1 ) In summer when probably no one will be there in the hostels, the solar energy captured is huge and it gets wasted due to lack of users..
2 ) Usually students use hot water in the morning hours.. By the eve.. the water gets repeatedly heated up.. Resulting in the damage of the storage and pumping pipes due to the high temperature.
3 ) Transportion of water to any other place at a long distance for usage is difficult, expensive and the heat cannot be retained.
4 ) Most important thing is that the solar water heating system gets damaged if its not used regularly and needs extra expenses for the servicing of it and replacing the damaged parts.
One of the possible solutions can be using the hot water for cooking in food court attached to 1K. But in summer this wont be possible as food court remains closed.
So we invite you ppl to provide us with some feasible technical solutions, suggestions and help us utilising the energy well..

dude its not possible to change the architech. of anything in our college better think of doing otherthings that don't involve administration I propose 'lets join to do something for the birds, mongoose, and some other animals in our college like may be sparrow lets improve a place where they can nest what do you think??'
Thank you Mr happy for participating in the discussions. Well, if u start thinking that nothing will change, i don't think anything will be possible. If u have any solution for the problem, please share. We ll try our best in seeing that the solution is implemented, provided its economically feasible. Coming to your idea of doing something for the bird and animal life of the coll. We are happy to see the concern from the students but seeing the wide renovation of the coll, nothing is possible. we even thought of plantation work throughout the campus. Its better we can wait till the land scaping is finished. Then we can have clear idea where to plant trees.
If you any suggestion about what can be done for the bird and animal life in college, bring it to our notice. We ll definitely follow that
